DHR Communications partners with Political Intelligence

DHR Communications is delighted to announce a joint strategic business partnership with public affairs consultancy, Political Intelligence.

The UK-based firm has a presence in all of the key European markets, with offices and partners in London, Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Rome and Edinburgh.

Under the agreement, the consultancies will collaborate on business development, particularly as it relates to organisations operating in the European and global markets. 

In addition, DHR will serve as the Irish base for Political Intelligence’s clients who require public affairs support at a national level.  The companies have already commenced collaborative work on a number of technology and health clients.

In addition to business collaboration, the consultancies will share staff resources, systems and approaches to client service delivery.

DHR Communications, which was established in 2004, currently has 15 employees.  The team, which includes former Labour Party advisor, Tony Heffernan, and former Fianna Fáil TD, Pat Carey, is led by managing director, Catherine Heaney.

Meanwhile, Political Intelligence – which is led by its founder and managing director, Nick Lansman – has been in operation for 20 years.

Commenting on the partnership, managing director of DHR Communications, Catherine Heaney said: “We envisage that this partnership will be meaningful and beneficial for our collective clients.  It will allow us to leverage resources, intelligence and capacity throughout Europe, with a guarantee of consistency and quality in service delivery.

She added: “Our decision to enter into partnership is based on our desire to broaden our horizons and to leverage more support for our clients in the wider European market.

“Political Intelligence offers us a very good fit, because of its ethos around transparency and our similar client bases, particularly in areas of health, technology and communications.  Both companies have invested in getting to know each other and in testing our synergies.”
