Emily Kelly
Emily Kelly has recently joined the DHR Communications team in the role of Senior Account Executive. She has particular expertise in media relations, having worked until recently as a broadcast journalist and newsreader with 98FM. At 98FM, she covered the 2011 general and presidential election campaigns, and had responsibility for keeping the station’s website and social media profiles up-to-date with news stories, videos and photographic content.
Prior to her work with 98FM, Emily served as Producer of ‘Kildare Today’, the flagship current affairs show on KFM, a local radio station in Co. Kildare. In this role, she booked guests to appear on the show; sourced news items; developed and maintained social media profiles to support the programme; and compiled the running order for the show each day.
At DHR Communications, Emily serves in the role of Senior Account Executive for our work on the review of the White Paper on Irish Aid. She also supports our work with a cross-section of other clients, including Samaritans Ireland, the Digital Hub Development Agency and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.
She holds a BA in Acting Studies from Trinity College Dublin and an MA in Journalism and Media Communications from Griffith College.
